Allegations only
Charges are allegations. The person has not been convicted. Named persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Booking photos from the public roster are not a statement of guilt.
What we do not publish
- Juvenile bookings (anyone under 18 on the roster)
- Victim names in sex offenses
- Street addresses (city and state only, going forward)
No pay-to-remove
We never charge a fee to remove or alter a booking item. We never pitch “reputation repair” off blotter pages.
Records and corrections
We keep a screenshot or PDF of the roster as retrieved for our privilege file. We update or correct when the official roster changes, when a dismissal is shown with proof on written request, or when a court orders it. See Corrections.
On every booking post
Every booking post should include our short jail disclaimer near the top. That disclaimer states presumption of innocence, that charges are allegations, and that we do not charge removal fees.
